  • Ibrahim Kosoko is a founding partner of Kosoko Law Group and a graduate of Rutgers Law School. During his time at Rutgers, he was an Associate Articles Editor for the Rutgers Journal of Law and Religion and played a leadership role in the Rutgers Law School Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Pro Bono Project, helping lower-income New Jersey residents with their income tax filings.

    After law school, Ibrahim clerked for the Honorable Katherine R. Dupuis, P.J.Ch, and the Honorable Joseph R. Perfilio, J.S.C., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division, General Equity Part. In this role, he conducted legal research and drafted memoranda and opinions on various matters, including business and commercial disputes, protection of trade secrets, vacation of arbitration awards, and residential and commercial foreclosures.

    Following his clerkship, Ibrahim joined a regional law firm in New Jersey, where he represented clients in litigation related to commercial transactions, contract interpretation, construction law, product liability, toxic tort, general liability, and environmental law.

    In 2019, Ibrahim temporarily stepped away from the practice of law to pursue opportunities in the financial markets. In 2024, he returned to the legal field as a founding partner of Kosoko Law Group.

    Ibrahim is also an active member of the alumni steering committee for the Rutgers Center for Corporate Law and Governance.
